How often should I repeat my mailing?

  As in all advertising, repetition is essential. The prospect may not be interested in your offer this month, but next month they might be. So, depending on the unique characteristics of your offer the answer to this question can differ. Many times it does take more than one contact to turn a prospect into a loyal customer. With your initial mailing you can decide what worked best and what did not. With your next mailing you can revise your mail piece and your offer to best fit your requirements. Many direct mail pros agree: follow-up campaigns are best done in a fairly close time frame so the prospect can recall the product or offer.
